6 + 6 + 6 = 18; 1 + 8 = 9.
The number of nights in the lunar month = 27, and 2+7 = 9.

666 + 666 + 666 = 1998, and (1 + 9 + 9 + 8) = 27 = 3 x 9 and 3+9=12 and 1+2=3.

Perhaps the year 1998 is going to be an 'interesting' year.

BTW, 666 multiplied by any integer gives a number whose digits add seem to always add up to 9. Maybe some mathematician could give a formal proof of this?

It seems that this number, 666, is quite a remarkable number.
