There will always be terrorists. Relatively powerless people who desperately want life to be different sometimes turn to violence. They're unrealistic, of course- they're not usually going to get what they want, via terrorism, because the responses to terrorism tend to be unpredictable. I mean who could have predicted that when a bunch of terrorists- mostly Saudis- attacked us on 9/11- the US would invade Iraq, and Afghanistan. Crazy, right?
