Hi Mike,
You once gave me some good advice on INFO, and as a result I did not buy it- it dropped a lot since then and I always appreciate your advice.

I do Own EMC and for a long time and I have bought and sold and did well BUT. This is a great CO, but Mr. and Mrs. Egans' selling
drives me nuts. Do you know about how many shares were sold by the EGANS'each year for the past 2 years and maybe how it differed in the time when the stock was rising out of sight. I am certain that we are talking well over a million shares and maybe several million.

It would seem that there is strong validity in the fact that the stock drops when the chairman sells - if he thought the stock was going to rise , he could delay his purchases or even borrow as the interest could be miniscule. I did read that EMC gives lots of stock options in lieu of high salaries and more so than most other companies and so there could be some justification for selling.

A million shares is 20 million dollars at an average price of 20 bucks if I did not misplace a decimal- It seems that there would be an explanation for the purpose of such sales.

Anyway, at 23 is it time to get out? If I found out that The big E is selling , I would sell (I didnt do it before but I would now ).
How long after the fact is the public aware of insiders sales such as by the EGANS- if this info was available easily, perhaps we would have a better handle on when to sell or buy.

Love your opinions

RALPH
