Scootie ...

seems you are only four points behind the leaders and you ain't that good

tell you what ---- after you pick this week's teams I'll take the other side for I have put the hex on you

rest of the post is OT.....

as far the answer to your very impolite reflection on my latest kitchen redo when I get finished (before Thanksgiving bty) I'll put up some photos and promise you'll be amazed

it is the 4th remod on the kitchen ..... lol

this time necessitated ALL new cabinets due to reconfiguration, and of course that meant all new granite

the headofthehousehold picked the same pattern as the last granite install, but of course that still called for three new slabs as there is no way to match close enough to please her.

the replaced stuff didn't go to waste however as I'm going to cut, fabricate and install into our eldest daughter's house

going price in NE Tx is $45 up per sq ft , but you know me---- el cheapo from the getgo --- set up a company to obtain fabricator prices ...LOL

my bud's new house that I finished up today is quite nice ... I'll take some pics when he get finished with construction sometimes in the next few weeks and send you some.

don't have any idea what house construction costs are up there in the frozen tundra but fairly reasonable here for a self contracted job *(if one has the skills to be a gen contractor). My guy built a two story 3 bed, 2 bath around 3000 sq ft with a fantastic floor plan for under a hundred bucks a ft.

most pricing here is around $125 to $175 for a comparable home

of course I helped to lower the cost by being the granite guy ....... hehehehehe .. I 'm considering taking on a few jobs cause I enjoy it in the area of $22 - $25 per sq ft.

and I really don't have to lift more than 50 lbs as I've spent a good deal on equipment to handle and cut the stuff.

even bought a new trailer and built a big rack to haul the slabs from Dallas .. had a gantry crane built with a hoist on a trolley that'll lift 2 tons.
