Winds have died down considerably, but major flooding going on right now. Can't get down to the cabin for the water, but looks like it's running around 50 mph and two feet below the deck. It's running underneath the cabin and Bob says it looks like the driveway has been undermined where the septic line crosses. He got Dusty out of there earlier, and really glad he did. We've been out of power most of the day, but have the two generators going................one for the house and one for the pump............and plenty of gas. I went down today and met KLP for lunch. Glad I came home when I did. Trees down everywhere on hwy 2 and Index/ Galena, and lots of running water over the roadways. Interestingly, when we're out of power, and as long as the gens are running we get full Internet (wireless DSL???) and because we're DISH subscribers, TV. We bot a new, bigger generator last summer that can handle the whole house. We had the older one..........not that old, maybe 2 yrs old??..........and use it for the pump at the well.

A real mess. We'll be without power for days.
