If 12% returns every year where easily achieved... Bernie Madoff would still be trucking along since he was providing 10% returns.

Steady, 12% gains per year (basically) double your investment money in 5 years. Too often, people lose sight of simple issues like this


In the 1990's a 10% return seemed downright paltry...... I have a 1997 Forbes magazine where several successful portfolio managers where commenting that they would pay almost any kind of multiple for
companies like PG and KO which were growing earnings at 17% a year a the time.

LOL ..... maybe that was a Freudian slip..... -g-
