Reading Comprehension is taught, apparently not to all.

It focus' on connecting a series of written ideas together to "comprehend" the meaning the writer has in mind, rather than a simplistic exercise of hanging up on one sentence at the expense of the larger concept at hand-- ie., how long it should take for the SOX to return to an uptrend vs. the statistical significance of one particular illustration.

That is the meaning of reading comprehension. Sorry it evades you.

What is clearly lost here, is that we agree that now is not the time to be investing in SOX stocks. We're bickering over an insignificant detail in the big picture.

I would end here by adding that one should not buy the semis "when the blood is running in the streets", but rather, when the blood is beginning to DRY in the streets. Fresh blood can run for a long time from stocks pumped too high on recent cash infusions.
