I worked my way through college too, but I didn't come from another country and immediately get enrolled in a university. A lot of people come from other countries and don't seem to get that opportunity without money or some other factors involved. I don't see how any bias would be necessary to ask questions about the fellow's circumstances. He then starts a business in Canada. Probably 9 years after he graduated from U of T. If you're into seismic-processing why go to Canada and not just stay in Texas which was the oil drilling center of the U.S.? You'll have to EXCUSE me if I want to know a great deal about someone that wants to be President of the United States. If this were 1933 Germany I probably would be asking the same types of questions about possible candidate Adolph Hitler too.
