I'm new to this thread. Have been checking out Rational because my company is developing medical software and everyone is telling us that we have to go to object-oriented software down the line. I just reviewed Rational's website. There was an interesting report by IDC (see IDC bulletin). Obviously, Rational put it in there because it is very favorable to Rational. This stock looks like a good long-term investment, I might buy some first quarter 1998, providing that some of the high tech stuff that I have ever moves upward. rational.com
