Imagine a sheriff being called over to a man's house because he bought pit bull that had been bred to kill babies on sight, and the dog killed the man's 4 year old daughter.
Then, the next day, the sheriff sees the man buying several more pit bulls that were bred to kill babies on sight. The sheriff just shakes his head. Then, that night, the sheriff receives another call from the same man's house, because the new dogs killed the man's 3 year old daughter.
Then, the next day, the sheriff sees a large truck with "Pit Bulls! Bred to kill babies!" printed on the side, and heading toward the house of the man who loves pit bulls that are bred to kill babies. That night, the sheriff receives another call from the man's house. A bunch of snarling pit bulls had killed the man's 1-month old baby son!
The sheriff finally asks the man, "Don't you think that it's dangerous to own pit bulls that were bred to kill babies?"
The man replies, "No. There is good in all pit bulls. We just need to be more patient and tolerant until we find the good in them."
