Investing v Speculating V Gambling - thanks to MVIS

MVIS and MicroVision are becoming a case study in being a sharedholder in small companies. I wrote a post about my distinction between investments, speculations, and gambling and used MVIS as an example. To me, much of the financial world's reaction is based on trying to diminish risk through the use of information. The way MicroVision has managed their information may cause the market to reassess the stock's risk.

Especially after the recent earnings report and conference call, I consider MVIS a speculation with at least a small element of investment but not as extreme as a gamble.

The longer version is on the blog.
