>>Have you ever been a previous AAPL owner ? Just curious if the up coming 1/6/98 MacWorld-Jobs had anything to do with your decision to buy AAPL ?<<

I've been more of a Mac user than an Apple investor, but looks like that's changing. I did own a few shares of AAPL back in July..too few to matter at about 10% of what I own now.

I think everyone who's buying AAPL right now is thinking about the Jan Expo. But that's not the only thing that I based the purchase on. I think there have been very significant improvements in various areas in the company.

I didn't think that we'd be seen AAPL at this level again but who could have foreseen the trouble in the asian market? Since the circumstance that brought AAPL back down to this level is different from the July trip, I'm not sure that the same trading pattern will result from the Expo. Last time most of the problems were confined to Apple. AAPL dropped while the rest of the market was moving higher. This time around, the tech market is taking a beating. AAPL's uncertain future just amplifys the move.

AAPL is trading at the attractive 13 level again but there are a lot more bargain stocks in the market now competing for investors' money. So I'm not entirely confident we'll see the a big move upward this time, but it's always fun to play.
