OK, here's the final set of guidelines based on your responses. You can post or EMAIL your picks.

1. Closing ASK on 12/31/97 to Closing BID on 12/31/98.

2. Stock must have an NYSE, NASDAQ, American, or US Bulletin Board/pink sheet symbol.

3. Winner is the one with the greatest % increase from the 12/31/97 closing ASK to the 12/31/98 closing BID.

4. All picks must be made BEFORE 0930EST on Jan 2, 1998.

5. Only 1 pick per person please.

6. In the event of splits, all start prices will be readjusted as appropriate.

7. In the event your pick is bought out for shares in the acquiring company, that company's stock price will replace your pick, adjusted for the ratio of shares in the exchange. Dividends will be added to the ending 1998 stock price.
