Has there ever been a Christmas Crash? It has a nice, memorable, alliterative ring to it. The Christmas Crash of '97. Off 350 in the first fifteen minutes! Shutdown. Open. Off 550 by noon. Shutdown for early trading completely screwing up the circuit breakers and leaving all non-Christian countries free to take themselves down the drain over the next 40 hours or so.
