<They told Compaq that they had to ship the product as they received it, and they did not have the right to tamper with MSFT merchandise (the IE icon and link). That does not preclude Compaq from shipping another browser.> This is what MSFT told Compaq in the non disclosure contract. You either preload win95 with IE in all new machines that you sell or you don't get any at all. That's why they take it and try and reload it with NSCP, and then MSFT said they can't tamper with it. <are you relying on sesnationalist media to gather your facts?> duh!
