Re: Stack Dump

Kevin,

I read through the stack dump you posted.

exchange2000.com

I was hoping to discover the problem your machine had with that web site when I noticed the following:

"State Dump for Thread Id 0x51"

This is pretty scary ..considering this is post 1551, which TED pointed out reads the same backwards and forwards. I think that means that it is a palindrome. Did you know that hex 1551 is the same as Octal 12521. Wait...it gets even weirder. Your machine is one of those Intel machines with the experimental register, look closely at the following:

eip=0041a316 esp=0012df88 ebp=0012e0c4 iopl=0 nv up ei pl zr na po nc
cs=001b ss=0023 ds=0023 es=0023 fs=0038 gs=0000 efl=00010246

Did you note the ESP register. I did, and I think it is there to support the user's constant desire for a "DO WHAT I MEAN" key. I expect this key to be in production around year 2002.

Lastly, while digging around in your stack dump, I noticed the following:

0012e008 6e 01 10 00 0f 00 00 00 - 00 48 41 50 50 59 20 42.HAPPY B
0012e018 6e 01 10 00 0f 00 00 00 - 49 52 54 48 44 41 59 00 IRTHDAY
0012e028 6e 01 10 00 0f 00 00 00 - 20 4b 65 76 69 6e 00 00.Kevin..
0012e038 6e 01 10 00 0f 00 00 00 - 44 62 13 02 54 e0 12 00Db..T......wn...

I think your machine is trying to tell you something.

Regards

Tom
