Maybe. But only by pushing the Repubs to the right. Trump has little chance. Look at it this way. He has been running about 20% of professed Republicans who say they will vote. But they are only 20%-30% of the electorate. So they are less than 10% of the total electorate. Which puts their number about the same as those who claim that the Apollo landings were a hoax or that Dubya was a great president.

Probably considerable overlap between them, too.
