The products don't really overlap that much. I expect acuity scalability to be similar to dynamics c/s+. the high end stuff typically requires much more service and customization. I think you'll see the big stuff scale DOWN to companies with revenues in the $200 million to $500 million range and the stuff from sota and gpsi scale UP to companies with revenues in the $100 to $250 million range.

Don't forget about lots of midrange type companies lurking out there. JDE just came public and Lawson software is over $100 million in revenues also. Given the challenges all of the software vendors will face I would not expect SOTA's valuation to reach the lofty heights of the other vendors - i expect their valuations to compress and SOTA's stock to move in-line with its growth. I think 1998 will be an ugly year for enterprise software. I hope I'm wrong, but I think the there's still room for compression in some of the ridiculous tech frenzy valuations we've seen in recent years.
