Skaar: If you'll notice, most all of the stks. mentioned on the site you provided are/were selling for 5.00 or more when they were initially shorted. Sometimes shorting a stk. is called for. For example: I shorted MCI at 37.00 when they began negotiations to sell the company to a British firm. Their book-value was far less than 37.00 at the time, and it was obvious that something bad had to happen. I covered at 30.00; also, I shorted JABL at 70.00 when I heard that they had lost their contract with Johnson & Johnson (their largest account); I covered at 51.00 (the stk. was way over-valued at 70.00). Sometimes it is the prudent thing to do, you just have to keep rather tight stops in case it goes against you.
