I don't think Obama was ever properly vetted.

I think race was a BIG part of that.

If he had been scrutinized much more closely maybe he wouldn't have gotten the nomination or been elected.

I don't think that that means we shouldn't take a close look at Cruz.

Right now things seem to be playing out very well for Cruz as far as the nomination. He's risen dramatically in Iowa and could very well win the first 3 primaries.

Then would come Mar. 1st with Texas voting. With all the PAC money he's got and all the Tea Party support he could muster he could have a SHOT.

A Cruz nomination could be VERY bad for the Republican Party though. In a general election he'd probably get CREAMED.
