This article makes the potential synergies of the merger more clear. I work for a major carrier and we are currently engaged in a well-publicized migration to NFV. The 1st paragraph of this article is spot on. I now see how a merged EZCH + MLNX can provide a better solution to the problem we are experiencing (from that 1st paragraph). As a shareholder who voted against the merger, I would now be inclined to support it IF the offer were raised by a few $ per share so we could get better payback from the development of the NPS which we, as owners, financed.
