Brian, I just stopped at thechipmerchant and innocently asked the sales clerk when they expected K6-266's. After checking inside she said "not 'til February."

The only other 2 people in the storefront were buying K6's. When asked about chip return policy the other clerk noted that he's never sold a K6 chip that didn't work and the boxed chip had a 5 year warranty. Last time I was there there were 2 people buying Intel socket 7 chips and 4 more buying memory.

Does anyone remember how soon after K6 intro that thechipmerchant had K6's?
