This has to be a blow to the last few (two*) believers hanging on to the hope that Mubadala Development Co will swoop in and rescue AMD from bankruptcy at the last minute.
You and mm* still pimping this theme? If anything it looks to me like AMD has been propping up go flow. AMD has been stuck with 28 nm since GF hasn't gotten to 14FF. They won't be joined at the hip forever. Of course we already know GPUs are going to 14 nano FF at TSMC. I'd be happy to see everything made at TSMC. The sooner the better if gf doesn't get it together.
