Front page of Stockhouse this morning, Although it is as of yet not binding. The fact that a memorandum of agreement has been signed between BC and Alaska. Acknowledges that Alaskan concerns will be given serious considerations. I have posted previously ( a year or two back) on S/H that this kind of agreement was in the works. Only to be scoffed at by some of the regular rainbow visionaries there. Who said Alaska would have no voice in Canadian mining, and should mind their own business.

It has been the subject of some serious conversations within the mining industry. Since the filing in Washington against Teck over the pollution in the Columbia river. A cross border case which Teck lost, and cost them substantially.

Further talks and clarifications of points within the memorandum will be ongoing. Strengthening the agreement. A move which I suggest is very prudent and supported by the majority of citizens of both territories.
It won't stop development but will make companies review the possible hazards. To protect the waterways. Both inland and coastal.
A great first move on protecting international waters.

As far as results from a couple of drill holes. It is not difficult to orient one or two into known mineralization based on previous records to come up with something to feed a news release.
Not much different than grab samples which are selected leaders for the gullible. The mineralization is only a pie in the sky, till money is spent to prove it up. You know that.
