John, Caxton, good points, but it is a little more than people not trusting what they can't see. They also distrust experts telling them not to worry their pretty little heads about all the complicated scientific magic of the annointed. There are corpses spread from here to the beginning of time of those who believed the experts.

All you can do is say that the risk is below such and such a level. You can't say there isn't risk. I say there is. When a photon absorbs, its energy gets added to the stew in the immediate vicinity and although an xray has super duper energy and does real blasting all on its own, a 1900 MHz photon has a teeny bit of grist to add to the mill. Imagine a dodgy DNA molecule not quite sure whether to undergo the change to cancer or not. Along comes the Qcom photon and gives it just that little edge to make the decision - hey presto, instant mutation. Sure it needed a bit of help from some friendly aromatic molecules, virus or the like, but without the photon, it would have been a failed attempt.

Instant causation.

These photons are a continuum. Xrays, UV, daylight and 1900MHz are all just part of the same deal. As you know. But some readers might not realize it.

But to freak out as some mothers here are doing over a cellphone tower then having a cup of coffee and feeding their children a ham sandwich isn't really managing risk very well. They might even have a cigarette to calm their nattered sherves.

But calm assurances of complete safety don't have the ring of truth.

Caxton, good news on Richard Bliss. Thanks for giving us that.

As far as $46.5 goes, it seems ridiculous. But the fact is that you and I aren't buying more. So the price drops until the sellers attract some new buyers. Seems a real deal to me. All those who told of their conversion to cash, such as Ramsey, will no doubt come sauntering in after some nice holidays and pick them up at such prices and laugh at us who pigged out earlier. Who is selling? Must be crazy - do they really think they'll do better elsewhere or are they out of control margined maniacs who are losing their shirt. But the fact is the seller who sold me at $51 can buy now and be better off.

Great fun.
