here is an imponderable (at least for me) question about trading activity. I wonder how the following would be done:



I've noticed that different houses buy shares of EUO at exactly (to the second) the same time at the ask. The question is, how? Does one of the houses have an algorithm triggered to buy every single time they see the other house buy? With something like high-frequency trading, I imagine that it would be possible to get things to the same second of resolution.

Another possibility is that it can be perhaps a dark pool sale but I admit I don't know enough about that sort of thing to know whether it could happen that way or if it could only happen at the bid price of 0.155.

Anyway, this isn't necessarily important, but I think markets are absolutely fascinating.
