I would agree with most of what you wrote except for the fact that companies can hide important details in their financial reports that won't get exposed without careful scrutiny. Getting in on the ground floor for many requires an understanding of the financial structure. Without this, there is no way to tell if the company will be worth investing in, no matter how sincere the management is while creating a new and innovative product. The fact that you did not attempt to offer any assistance is a very telling factor, IMO. You appear to be saying "blindly follow the company". "Trust them"......sorry, no can do without the details first!!
