both. I use DeMark's book for some long term filters. His trend line work is very helpful to me as well. I use 8 different technical filters for short term analysis. Incidentally, DeMark's "Sequential" (R) gave a long term buy signal on the same day Maria made her announcement. This is not the first signal it has given. Of course, the main thing is the opinion that we form from all the data, fundamental and technical. That's why I like this site.

and 50 sounds fine to me.
