It appears that supplies are still much larger than demand and more oil about to hit the market when Iran sanctions lower.

BP said a significant number of projects are being shelved and at some point the demand curve will likely catch up to the production increase. Question is how far out in time are we looking.

With these issues in flux, I would agree that it's too early to dive into the oil & gas stocks as a rule.
