one way to combat climate change could be to release synthetic organisms that sequester carbon. (WTF!!!!) How this can be done safely is a question bioengineers are now beginning to address. We already have natural organisms that sequester carbon. Just let them do what they do. Creating synthetic organisms that would do it is VERY VERY dangerous. We NEED CO2!
