I have a friend who moved over to a Mac last year and two weeks ago got a new PC because he couldn't stand the Mac. He said the main thing was that he was a very good touch typist and the Mac keyboard layout just didn't suit him, and in general he found the ease of use on the PC more than on the Mac because of his decades using PCs. He is a senior also. Whereas my daughter moved to a Mac and loves it. I hate anything to do with her Mac. Moral the story is if you have many years of experience with a specific computer, and you're not at the leading edge of some specific software, sticking with what you know will make you much more comfortable.
