Obamacare got more people insured, but it didn't do anything to control healthcare spending. I've just discovered the cost for my insulin has doubled, and now my insurance has started making me pay 50% by changing how they classify it - what 'tier' they put it in. I'm thinking the government really needs to step in and regulate drug pricing. That same insulin is MUCH cheaper in Canada. US price = $283 a vial, Canada price = $145 a vial, retail. With insurance, it's only slightly cheaper here!
