The jihadi couple killed the coworkers who threw them a baby shower:

A compilation of material I'm copying for email to family and friends:

They got married, had a 6 month old baby. Turned their home into a pipe bomb factory. Bought guns, body armor, gopro cameras to record their massacre. Were obviously trained and had to have gone out in the CA desert to practice. He worked in the health dept, was a health inspector. His coworkers thought he was a nice guy. When his office had a meeting, he went, left briefly then returned with guns and body armor and massacred his coworkers. Coworkers who had thrown a baby shower for the couple:

Immediately after the massacre, the local Council on American Islamic Relations group held a news conference with some of his family members (a brother in law) saying the motive was a mystery to them. Maybe it was workplace violence, blah blah.

Too johnny on the spot for me ... I think CAIR was prepared with a media response cause they knew something was going to happen. And with a 6 mo baby in the house, didn't any family visitors know about the pipe bomb building, body armor, guns etc ... all the preparations for the massacre which had to have been in the works for awhile.

I think sometime ago they'd made known their willingness to do a jihad attack to a group like ISIS. And then they got a signal to prepare, probably months ago, later they got a signal to go. And they did.

This is all about Islam. From a review of the Quranic Concept of War:
......
Strike Terror into their Hearts

Malik uses examples to demonstrate that Allah will strike “terror into the hearts of Unbelievers.”52 At this point he begins to develop his most controversial and conjectural Quranic theory related to warfare—the role of terror. Readers need to understand that the author is thinking and writing in strategic terms, not in the vernacular

of battles or engagements. Malik continues, “when God wishes to impose His will on his enemies, He chooses to do so by casting terror into their hearts.”53 He cites another verse, “against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts) of the enemies of Allah . . . .” Malik’s strategic synthesis is specific: “the Quranic military strategy thus enjoins us to prepare ourselves for war to the utmost in order to strike terror into the hearts of the enemies, known or hidden, while guarding ourselves from being terror-stricken by the enemy.”54 Terror is an effect; the end-state.

Malik identifies the center of gravity in war as the “human heart, [man’s] soul, spirit, and Faith.” Note that Faith is capitalized, meaning more than simple moral courage or fortitude. Faith in this sense is in the domain of religious and spiritual faith; this is the center of gravity in war. The main weapon against this Islamic concept of center of gravity is “the strength of our own souls . . . [keeping] terror away from our own hearts.” In terms of achieving decisive and direct decisions preparing for this type of battlefield first requires “creating a wholesome respect for our Cause”—the cause of Islam. This “respect” must be seeded in advance of war and conflict in the minds of the enemies. Malik then introduces the informational, psychological, or perception management concepts of warfare. Echoing Sun Tzu, he states, that if properly prepared, the “war of muscle,” the physical war, will already be won by “the war of will.”55 “Respect” therefore is achieved psychologically by, as Brohi suggested earlier, “beautiful” and “handsome ways” or by the strategic application of terror.

When examining the theme of the preparatory stage of war, Malik talks of the “war of preparation being waged . . . in peace,” meaning that peacetime preparatory activities are in fact part of any war and “vastly more important than the active war.” This statement should not be taken lightly, it essentially means that Islam is in a perpetual state of war while peace can only be defined as the absence of active war. Malik argues that peace-time training efforts should be oriented on the active war(s) to come, in order to develop the Quranic and divine “Will” in the mujahid. When armies and soldiers find limited physical resources they should continue and emphasize the development of the “spiritual resources” as these are complimentary factors and create synergy for future military action.

Malik’s most controversial dictum is summarized in the following manner: in war, “the point where the means and the end meet” is in terror. He formulates terror as an objective principal of war; once terror is achieved the enemy reaches his culminating point. “Terror is not a means of imposing decision upon the enemy; it is the decision we wish to impose . . . .” Malik’s divine principal of Islamic warfare may be restated as “strike terror; never feel terror.” The ultimate objective of this form of warfare “revolves around the human heart, [the enemies] soul, spirit, and Faith.”56 Terror “can be instilled only if the opponent’s Faith is destroyed . . . . It is essential in the ultimate analysis, to dislocate [the enemies] Faith.” Those who are firm in their religious conviction are immune to terror, “a weak Faith offers inroads to terror.” Therefore, as part of preparations for jihad, actions will be oriented on weakening the non-Islamic’s “Faith,” while strengthening the Islamic’s. What that weakening or “dislocation” entails in practice remains ambiguous. Malik concludes, “Psychological dislocation is temporary; spiritual dislocation is permanent.” The soul of man can only be touched by terror.57

.....

[ Terror is the point and goal. The goal is to terrorize non-Muslims into submission. This is why the San Bernadino shooters wore gopro cameras on them. They wanted to record the massacre for re-broadcast so more people could be terrorized. ]

Below is the baby shower story:

Authorities were investigating terror links after a government worker and his wife shot up his San Bernardino, Calif., office party Wednesday, killing 14 people.

Syed Farook, 28, a devout Muslim, stormed out of the festivities and later returned with his new wife, Tashfeen Malik, 27. Both wore dark tactical gear and masks while toting assault rifles and handguns, police said.

The murderous duo sprayed bullets inside a conference room, slaughtering colleagues who earlier this year had thrown a shower for their new baby.

In addition to the dead, 17 were seriously wounded.

“This was not a casual workplace argument,” one law enforcement source told The Post. “It’s a well-planned and thought-out attack.”

The killers sped away in a black SUV from the Inland Regional Center, a state-run facility for developmental-disability services.

Hours later, cops went to Farook’s home in nearby Redlands, where the couple fled in the SUV. Officers eventually cornered the Yukon Denali on a quiet San Bernardino street and riddled it with bullets during a shootout that left Farook and Malik dead as blood pooled in the road.

Jesus Gonzales, 36, said his house was hit during the gun battle while his wife was inside.

His wife “called me frantically saying she’s hearing gunshots going off. Everywhere. And that she’s scared. And that she heard noises in the house, like it’s hitting the house,” he told the San Bernardino Sun. “She ducked down and said she heard more than 100 rounds.”

Authorities said the killers had thought through the massacre before heading to the facility at about 11 a.m. local time.

“And they were armed with long guns, not handguns.”

He later added, “They came in with a purpose — they came in with an intent.”

Burguan said he could not rule out that a personal conflict led to the shooting, the LA Times reported.

Law enforcement authorities said they recovered four firearms, at least two of which had been legally purchased, the paper reported.

Farook, born in the United States, met Malik while on a recent trip to her native Saudi Arabia, the LA Times said. He had met her online, the paper reported.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) said Farook left his 6-month-old child with his mother Wednesday morning, claiming he had a doctor’s appointment.

Modal TriggerWhat appears to be a body is visible on the road next to the shot-out SUV.Photo: ABC 7 Farook’s brother-in-law, Farhan Khan, said at a press conference with the Orange County chapter of CAIR: “I have no idea why would he do that. Why would he do something like this? I have absolutely no idea.”

Farook made $51,000 a year as an environmental health specialist for the county.

A co-worker at the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health said Farook was a reserved man who had just returned from paternity leave.

“He was very quiet,” Griselda Reisinger told the LA Times. “I would say hi and bye, but we never engaged him in conversation. He didn’t say much at all.”

Reisinger, who left the agency in May, said there were a lot of workers unhappy with management in the department.

But Farook “never struck me as a fanatic, he never struck me as suspicious,” she said.

Patrick Baccari, who shared a cubicle with Farook, said his colleague appeared to be “living the American dream” with his new wife and baby.

Baccari and another worker said Farook rarely started a conversation but was well-liked.

Baccari said that when Farook disappeared just before the photo session at the party, someone asked, “Where’s Syed?”

The slaughter took place inside the largest conference room at the facility, where the party was being held.

Terrified social workers locked their office doors, hid in bathrooms and ducked under desks as gunshots rang out.

Several people texted loved ones as they sought cover.

Cops who arrived on the scene never exchanged shots with the attackers, who might have fled by then.

A rifle with a black nylon case was found on South Waterman Avenue, not far from the center.

Meanwhile, the sidewalks and streets outside the building were a bloody, chaotic mess, with wounded victims being treated on the ground as others were hurried into ambulances.

Dozens of people left the building in single-file lines with their hands up, to ensure the killers hadn’t embedded themselves among them.

Most of the evacuated employees were taken to the Rock Church & World Outreach Center in San Bernardino.

Some of the wounded were being placed in the backs of pickup trucks to be taken to hospitals.

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center reported taking in six patients, while Loma Linda University Medical Center said it was treating another six.

Hordes of law enforcement officers descended on the facility in the aftermath, spending hours sweeping for explosives.

A bomb squad detonated one suspected explosive device using a robot, according to a federal law enforcement official.
