Darrell, this is a Big Board stock so the market-maker phenomenon doesn't apply. Might specialists engage in that kind of behavior? I don't know, but at these price levels and volume how much is there to be gained?

I think even the company anticipated pressure through the holidays. There is said to be a group of holders back east who were going to be bailing out on as much as 2MM shares during this period. Perhaps like Ernest, I thought they were done one day about two weeks back when the stock began to float up quickly and suddenly stopped acting "heavy". Obviously they weren't.

The only encouraging thing to me, short-term, is that someone is sure as heck stepping up to the plate and taking large amounts of stock at the current levels. I'd love to join them but I am seriously overweighted in DDL already.

Having said that, my fear all along has been that DDL would not throw off its shackles in time to participate in the "great Bull market" and the ultra-exuberance elevating other ECM's. And indeed, most DDL peers have taken serious hits right alongside the rest of the tech sector during this quarter.

I only hope that 1998 market conditions will give DDL the chance to shine and the stock an opportunity to bloom.
