Elroy,
One difference in the comparison is that CYMI is forecasted to have significantly greater growth in the year(s) ahead regardless of whose forecast you use. Intel after various downgrades may have a flat to down year next year and likely slower growth than CYMI after that. There is of course a major factor in Intel's size and monopoly position. But then again, in lasers, CYMI has a dominant market position.
