Eli has been providing fact based explanations and no one wants to listen and they are compelling. Credibility is an issue clearly but the message is legit.

EZ is 2 businesses - NPU which turned out to be a much smaller TAM not nearly growing the rate expected and NPS built for many applications but the big volume will be in data centers.

They have zero track record in data centers. They have not sold one NPS. Everyone thinks, and so I did I for a while, that the NPS was the holy grail. Everyone said so, GG, PCMW, RAN, you name it. Maybe it is but with the sheer volume of chips needed going forward, the ASP of the NPS is an issue. You only need one Cadillac and the remaining Taurus will do just fine.

With MLNX, EZ becomes the ASIC house to a proven data center provider. Just like all the routing companies have their own ASIC departments - ie EZ's prime competitor. (Using ASIC generically here vs. FPGA). That's why the 10x comment was made that MLNX can package the NPS inside system components and push out killer solutions vs. EZ selling a single component NPS into an environment separately. Obviously its good for everyone.

Customers want turn key or near turn key solutions a lot more than lego blocks. I understand the white box segment but that's a lot more sophisticated than people give it credit for, its not DIY hobbyist stuff. The argument is compelling.
