Re -- cpq has been selling this amd-k6 pc since i posted it weeks and weeks ago.

About 6 wks ago, AMD improved its yields. They also changed the K6-233 to 3.3v, which is not what most pentium MMX motherboards are designed for.

Thus CPQ would need to have evaluated this system, before selling them. It would take a couple of weeks for this, add to this building and shipping.

Furthermore, when I asked the salesman when they had received this, he mentioned a few days ago. Also this is confirmed by the report a few days ago, which said that CPQ was/had just shipped the K6-233.

Thus your weeks and weeks ago is plain exaggeration!!!
