We know the important actions;

-reduce FF emissions ASAP.
We know how to do it. We have the stuff to do it with. People are doing it now...
Uruguay makes dramatic shift to nearly 95% electricity from clean energy

sIn less than 10 years, Uruguay has slashed its carbon footprint without government subsidies or higher consumer costs, according to the country’s head of climate change policy, Ramón Méndez.

In fact, he says that now that renewables provide 94.5% of the country’s electricity, prices are lower than in the past relative to inflation. There are also fewer power cuts because a diverse energy mix means greater resilience to droughts.

-respond to the effects which are occurring.
Miami, already experiencing sea level rise,, and other cities are doing that now.

-prepare for future effects. Calif is trying to do that with water.

We just don't have enuf political will.We could have been discussing those actions for the last 10 years, but that means acknowledging warming is real, which many won't do.
