So one wonders how many of those Muslims, who wish to disassociate themselves from the barbarism of the "Isis interpretations", have also strongly spoken out and disassociated themselves from that 14% of "the total textual doctrine" that you refer to ?
IMO, if those extracts contained in the link that I posted were only 1% of the "total textual doctrine" then that, in itself, would be bad enough and would be worthy of complete disassociation and revulsion by anyone seriously intent on being part of a "peaceful" religious order, ... such as studious Mullahs.
I personally doubt that the individual who was Muhammad, who entered the arena of humanity nearly 1400 years ago, would have been inclined to be party to such outpourings of violence and inhuman behaviour towards his fellow man. Who knows who said what, who wrote what, how whatever was written maintained its true meaning and intention over those many centuries.
IMO, there needs to be some semblance of common sense and logic applied to much that has been "written and 'recorded' " over the centuries, by who knows who, across several of the major "religions" of the day, more especially Islam .... |
