Bill Clinton was a big Trump supporter. He was the one who suggested Donald Trump run for President.

So I guess you could say I'm a Trump supporter in much the same way. He has single handedly melted down the Republican Party by using their own patented brand of racism and xenophobia.

After Jeb! called for Medicare to be "phased-out" and Trump countered saying we need to keep those promises to American workers, Jeb! dropped to single-digits and Trump has been the clear front-running ever since.

That's not hard to understand. The Republican Party has been strongly rebuffed by their voters on their attempt to eliminate Medicare and slash Social Security - but they seem absolutely determined to double-down on this strategy because that's obviously what their major donors want.

On an entertainment level how can you be unhappy with Donald the stubby-fingered vulgarian?

Grandson of a guy who became extremely wealthy as the developer and owner of bordellos in Alaska and Canada - in retrospect they like to call him a "hotel owner". Trump's a general all around clown and incompetent and dishonest-adjacent businessman who Republican voters are swooning over. No matter what idiot thing he says, they like him all the more for it.

Meanwhile the Republican establishment is looking for some opportunity to rid themselves of him - which was Bill Clinton's genius at work. I think at this point the Democratic Party will win the Presidency, even if they choose to run "Howard the Dog" as their candidate.
