This "circle of life" bit sounds like some sort of propoganda (e.g. Mao-speak, Nazism, <insert-your-favorite-control-freak-left-or-right-ism here>). Hey, I'm starting to sound like Mr. Schuh.

In any case, yes, Gates wants "success", however *who's* success, and by what measure? Moreover, even if we assume Gates' motives are pure (which is highly naive), what about his successor?
