Chirodoc,

I just signed on with 112 post to read yet. If info is a repeat - forgive me. Below are comments from The Motley Fool in reference to the lowering of earnings estimates of TDW - go to middle of page:

You asked,
<<<<<.......btw: what do you think will happen with drillers this Q? is this a buying opportunity? has the market over reacted? or will we get crushed more as the new year begins?>>>>>

IMHO, I fear possibly more downgrades are to follow - herd mentality. The above link comments on this guy's estimate already being on the high end to begin with, but if one makes a change, the rest of the herd will start to take another look.

The fundamentals haven't changed, but the stock prices sure have. I think earnings will meet or beat estimates for this sector come Jan.

But the market always bases the current prices on the future. The question is how bad can SE Asia get? and/or affect world demand. This thread thinks not very much, the current market thinks differently, I don't honestly know. Some of the big money has hit the exit. I am waiting to see the market reaction to earnings in Jan.

I'm long CFK, ESV, NBR, RDC, & VRC, but I don't know if I can take much more . . . every time I pass a Jiffy Lube, I feel I need to get an oil change just to get these stocks turned around.

Scott
