Didn't take just one. Plus your fallacy is that if you make nice they will cease. Wrong. Not dropping bombs in the first place would have prevented all this. Al Qaeda and ISIS were invented by us (the west). Better to have left Saddam in there. Looks like I am in agreement with you and Trump on that point. Most of our politicians are just lackeys to the really big money interests. That is what threatens our democracies the most imho. The Muslim problem isn't even on the chart. Getting killed on the road in an auto accident or even being hit by golf ball is a much bigger problem. The only Muslim Terrorists we have have been manufactured and trained by us. I'm a bit surprised that most Americans and Europeans have not yet realized this. We have to stop using machines that are designed to radicalize Muslims in Syria, and using the resultant chaos as an excuse to loot their natural resources. Let Putin bomb the ME. That way the whole lot will become pro USA and become favored trading partners. How hard is that?
