That's the only warrants site i use much, it's not updated very often but serves as reference for what's out there, here's the current values page which i keep bookmarked -

canadianwarrants.com

The Financial Post has a page listing warrants, link is in the header of the warrants thread here -

Subject 27370

The references most important to me, are onepath, LC, and others on that thread ... i play only precious metals wts, and very few of them really, got started with the ngd.wt.a right from its first days of trading ... ditto the dna.wt.a, and dna.wt plain-janes before them ... those were a near thing, the latter, think i added penny wts as a hail-mary move when it looked like they were going to expire otm, then got all off at .10 or .11 or better when the share got ramped heading into expiry ... whew, actually had gains after accepting disaster

Time decay always working against you with wts, same as with options ... doesn't matter if the underlying does a multi-bagger above strike after expiry, it's only what it does before that counts

ngt.v - long gone, now agi.to, in the early 2000s i made a ton on this puppy, pretty much life-changing amounts due to what it enabled me to do, both off-market and on ... well that was fine, except it had these one-year warrants following the merger with Alamos, or leading up to that merger, i forget, anyway i pigged right out on these, figured expected developments would happen sooner than they actually did, and have more immediate effect on shareprice than they turned out to have ... there was dick-waving and hooting going on between two old farts, basically, which slowed down the process, the younger guy who smoothed things out and got the project back on track was Jim McDonald who started Kootenay ktn.v soon after, in which lies another story ... anyway, i was convinced of the eventual massive success of the whole thing, which did come to pass, i kept averaging down and then put in fair size stinkers real low, they all got whacked on a sector pullback, which do happen in the best of bull markets, and then the blessed warrants expired completely without value ... close but no cigar, poof - somewhere around a quarter of overall ngt gains [which at that point were still largely in the future] were time-decayed right out of existence

But not forgotten - i am unlikely to do that again, lol ... warrants are for spice, not main course, i keep them real low as portion of any account ... and only play longer-dated ones, not very scientifically, don't use the Black-Scholes calculations, don't even know how, just sort of squint-and-guess seat of the pants approach, gauging the ebbs and flows of sentiment ... been eight and a half years now with the ngd.wt.a, in the .30s last summer i didn't like them, now under a dime with the common looking sprightly and PMs about to come back, i do ... still they won't get above say five per cent of even my cowboy-moves acct, and far less in those of my girls

dna.wt.a - these are slightly longer-dated, holding some from a couple months ago [and have held at least a few continuously since inception, widely varying amounts] ... i think whoever got .06s and .07s today should do just fine, i had bids in around there but pulled them in favour of other stuff ... partly because they just weren't getting filled, partly because as always buy power is limited <sigh>
