The real break between one year and the next, all the phoney man-made constructs don't mean nothin' to the rocks ... out with the old, in with the new, days that were getting shorter now start getting longer, think how important that was to the people we come from, a few short thousand years back ... that's what it's all about, cycles, everything runs on cycles, not just markets and engines and salmon but a whole lot more ... and every single one of them ultimately, if not immediately, dependent on the Sun, from whence comes all the energy we have ever used, or will ever use ... vital to everything, you'd think it would come up in song more, and not just as subject of envy -
