The increasing utilization of dark fiber and WDM may allow us soon to "throw bandwidth" at issues in the WAN. What concerns me is how this will affect companies that rely on revenue from products that do complex switching and routing to alleviate current bandwidth bottlenecks. I am long ASND at a relatively low average, but would like to see some price appreciation in the next 12 months, as I am less sure what 24 to 36 months will bring in terms of the need for as much switch and routing as we currently do.

(Thanks Paul, Gary, and Hal for some very informative posts. Very helpful and appreciated.)
