Miljenko, in which respect do you think ARRS/MRK are wasting money? It was curious to me that the Smithkline PNAS article discusses cathepsin K and osteoclasts, when their collaboration with ARRS is in the area of antivirals. There must be quite a firewall set up between the Arris personnel working with Merck on Osteoporosis, and those working with SKB, which seems to have a competing program.
