The NFC East Mess: Week 15 ... Another week is in the books, but the NFL playoff picture remains a jumbled mess. The teams at the top of the power rankings have remained relatively unchanged throughout the season, and all are in excellent position to advanced to the playoffs. The New England Patriots, Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals have already clinched a spot in the postseason. Outside the top 10, the power rankings get confusing. Due to the messes that are the NFC East and AFC South, teams as low as the 25th-ranked Jacksonville Jaguars and 26th ranked Dallas Cowboys are still alive in the playoff hunt. In the NFC East, 6-7 is good enough to share the lead and three teams share it. They are bunched rogether in the 2nd tier of the NFL Power Rankings. Going down to the wire the battle for the division may be the most entertaining one in the league and most likely will be decided in week 18. It’s not much, but it’s what we have. - Eric L. -
