Most people buying in the aftermarket will opt for an external PP (easier to install), some will go for an internal ATAPI (don't need an adapter), and only a few will want an internal SCSI (most PCs don't contain a SCSI adapter, and why spend an extra $100 to get one when you could just get an ATAPI drive instead?). Also, I invariably find the external SCSI drives in the MAC section of the stores, so there seems to be a perception in the marketplace that SCSI is only for MACs. While this is not true, this perception further decreases the demand for SCSI, especially internal - most MAC users are afraid to open up their computer (more so than PC users, I've found - not MAC bashing, just my opinion based on experience). Anyway, I would like to find an internal SCSI too, so let me know if you find them anywhere! Jeff L.
