The computer revolution empowered the average person to become efficient and effective in the market without benefit of the traditional brokerage system. Now it is being taken away, a level playing field is of no benefit to those who write the rules. All those "alternate" exchanges were forced on the TMX group in some attempt to create competition. Like you I think it has muddied the waters. Silly me, I still think an exchange should have listed stocks and not be a computer program that routes orders. As Boolish remarked earlier, all we have is the chance to identify the very few equities that have a genuine shot at being multi baggers, other than those opportunities we are "monkeys in the middle" or "cannon fodder" . The fact remains though that there are few other areas where you have the opportunity to profit so greatly, so we continue to stick it out.l
